Mess-free finger painting

I have seen lots of posts and photos around the internet of babies and toddlers doing mess-free finger painting, aka paint in ziplock sandwich bags. A charming, sensory experience – messy without the clear up.

I thought I would see if Frida was interested. I popped some glitter glue and a couple of splodges of paint into a bag and put it on her table.

She had a bit of a feel and bashed it a couple of times, but just seemed a bit frustrated that she couldn’t get her hands on the good messy stuff within and lost interest quite fast.

I wondered if she might be more interested if I added dried pasta. Nope!

Next time maybe….
