We had an incredibly relaxing day yesterday. Luckily the sun was out in full force and so we were able to spend the bulk of it outdoors, in the park, the playground, and the garden.
My husband was working from home which means he was able to join us for present opening and breakfast at her table, which we pulled out so we could all sit around it together.
After much deliberation we bought Frida a set of Grimm’s stacking boxes (these seem to be a firm favourite in many Montessori homes and we love Grimm products), some Holztiger woodland animals to add to her already beloved collection, a box of eight Stockmar crayons (we went for blocks which we thought would be easy for her to handle), and a little dustpan and brush for many practical life activities to come!
